Medical School: New York University School of Medicine, 1993

Internship: Bethesda Naval Hospital, Internal Medicine, 1994

Residency: Georgetown University, Ophthalmology, 2001

Fellowship:  Tufts New England Eye Center / Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, Glaucoma Fellowship, 2002

Dr. Brusie is a board certified ophthalmologist and a specialist in cataract/lens implantation surgery. He also has specialized fellowship training in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma.

Dr. Brusie served four years on active duty as a medical officer aboard navy ships and on staff at the Bethesda Naval Hospital. Following his naval service, he completed his ophthalmology residency at Georgetown, followed by fellowship training in glaucoma at Tufts New England Eye Center and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.

Dr. Brusie is Chief of Surgery at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, where he has performed over 3000 cataract surgeries.
